Julia (or Jules) is a cuban-american freelance writer, curator, and creative strategist working at the intersection of technology, art and entertainment with a focus on emerging mediums. Her work explores how we learn and share information, how perception shapes understanding, and how we can create collectively. She is especially excited by the fact that we are all active storytellers.

Previous to freelancing, she was a member of the Refik Anadol Studio, researching how machine learning applied to archival information could help us better understand the complexities of our multidimensional stories and world.

When not writing she makes music under the moniker Isla Vidal (@eresvidal) and loves taking photographs outside.

Drop her a line below if you have questions, want to nerd out about anything and everything, or most importantly have any tips about the best sweet potato fries you’ve ever had.
